Widow was my first attemptat making a walking robot from scratch.
He has a modular layout that allowsme to detach and replace separate parts of the mechanism, such as the power, circuit, and motors, and substitute alternative versions. This makes him quite agood test bed.
I named him Widow partly because his forward facing multipleled 'eye' gives him a spider like appearance but mostly because he lives inconstant threat of being CANNIBALISED for parts :-)

Circuit 4Nv Microcore
Power 6V Battery (rechargeable unit in the works).
Motors Cheap geared motors from Rapid Electronics.
Weight 90 grams
Dimensions 90mm long. 140mm wide 100mm tall.
Behaviour Widow walks forward with a nice purposeful stride. That's about it.

Ifyou've got a pair of 3 D glasses to hand give the image above a go.
Note: The redlense should cover the left eye.
